Harley Haddow expands into Bristol with appointment of new Director
We are pleased to announce the expansion of our UK presence with the launch of our Bristol office, strengthening our building services engineering capability across the South West and supporting our continued growth across the UK.
Establishing a base in Bristol allows us to engage more closely with clients, consultants and project teams working across the South West built environment. The region’s focus on sustainable development, high quality design and long-term building performance closely aligns with our approach to engineering with purpose.
With a heritage spanning 75 years, we deliver thoughtful, high quality building services engineering across the built environment. Our Bristol office builds on this foundation, strengthening our MEP engineering capability in the South West and reinforcing our commitment to sustainable, future ready design.
Leadership investment in Bristol and the South West
As part of our regional expansion, we are delighted to welcome Scott as Director, who will lead our Bristol office.
Scott is a Chartered Engineer and senior leader in the building services engineering industry, bringing over two decades of experience across consultancy, design and project delivery. Scott brings deep technical expertise alongside a thoughtful, people focused leadership style. He has led multidisciplinary teams delivering complex projects across commercial office, retail, industrial, hotel, residential, heritage refurbishments and mixed use / urban regeneration developments.
His work is defined by a strong commitment to design quality, sustainability and practical engineering solutions that add real value for clients. As Director of our Bristol office, Scott will focus on building strong partnerships, fostering collaboration and supporting high quality engineering outcomes for clients.
Away from work, Scott has a strong passion for adventure and the outdoors. Whether cycling the length of country, bagging munros (hills), climbing Mont Blanc (almost – another story), or keeping busy as a proud dad coaching his son’s rugby team.
Commenting on his appointment, Scott said:
“Joining Harley Haddow at this stage of its growth is an exciting opportunity. The business has a strong engineering heritage, clear values and a genuinely collaborative culture. I am looking forward to building relationships in the South West and contributing to our next chapter from our Bristol office.”
Supporting sustainable development across the South West
Our Bristol office forms part of our wider continued UK growth strategy, enabling us to support sustainable developments locally, focussing on building performance. Net Zero and whole life carbon / embodied carbon ambitions across Bristol and the South West.
