Introduction
Harley Haddow were commissioned to undertake a feasibility study and take to warrant the refurbishment proposals for an exclusive golf club located to the south-west of London.

Background
The clubhouse was under-utilised by its members, and its facilities had become increasingly dated. The project aimed to explore ways to improve the building’s usability and functionality while respecting its historic listed status.
Challenges
The existing clubhouse layout limited access and capacity, and the dated facilities were restricting the club’s ability to host events and dining functions effectively. Delivering improvements within a listed building required careful consideration to balance heritage preservation with modernisation.
Solutions
Harley Haddow, led by Colin, developed proposals to maximise access to the historic clubhouse, open up rooms to increase capacity, and enhance function and dining areas. The scheme also included the formation of a new caddy building, shop, and store to support the club’s operations and improve overall member experience.
