Stirling University’s new multimillion pound sports centre brings together the former performance centres to create a world class space for sporting excellence in the heart of Stirling campus.

The site is set within the existing campus amongst the rich landscape located around Airthrey Loch, overlooked by the National Wallace Monument and with views of Stirling Castle.

To fully exploit this unique setting, the design conceptualisation centred around a ‘glass box’. The external façade with an internal ‘drum’ housing fitness suites and multi-use studios providing the users with panoramic views whilst they exercise.
