New Olympia House
Winner of Retrofit of the Year and Positive Addition (up to £5 million) at the 2024 AJ Retrofit & Reuse Awards, New Olympia House is an outstanding example of how existing buildings can be reimagined for modern use. Harley Haddow delivered MEP engineering services for the transformation of the former Salvation Army Citadel into high-quality commercial office space, supporting a project that demonstrates the environmental, social and commercial value of retrofit.
Inverness Castle
As part of the transformation of Inverness Castle into a major visitor attraction, Harley Haddow delivered integrated engineering solutions that respected the building’s heritage while supporting its new public use.
Teviot Row House
One of the world’s oldest purpose-built student unions, Teviot Row House has undergone an extensive restoration and refurbishment to preserve its heritage while creating a modern, accessible destination for future generations. Harley Haddow provided MEP engineering solutions that supported the careful integration of modern building services within this historic building.
Claridge House
Winner of the Decarbonisation & Net Zero Award at the AJ Retrofit & Reuse Awards, Claridge House demonstrates how existing buildings can be transformed to significantly improve operational performance while extending their lifespan.
