Harley Haddow names new national civils director alongside specialist team growth
Harley Haddow have appointed David Campbell as our National Lead and Regional Director of Civil Engineering, further strengthening our senior leadership team as we continue to expand our presence and enhance our integrated engineering capability across the UK.
Based in our Glasgow office, David brings more than 30 years of industry experience, including senior leadership roles at international multi-disciplinary consultancies. Having operated at director level since 2013, he will lead our civil engineering division nationally, supporting projects and clients across a broad range of sectors and regions.
David’s appointment follows a period of significant growth for our Glasgow team, which has almost tripled in size over the past year. He joins a growing team of recent appointments, including Associate Director Daniel Murray and Senior Structural Engineers Elinor Reeves, Eric Graham and Ruaridh Gray.
Collectively, these appointments reflect our continued investment in Glasgow and our wider commitment to strengthening our Civil & Structural engineering capability across the business.
David’s arrival represents an important step in our continued growth, bringing additional leadership and technical expertise at a time when demand for coordinated, high-quality engineering solutions remains strong across infrastructure, development and regeneration projects.
Commenting on his appointment, David Campbell said:
“Harley Haddow is a well-respected firm and I’m pleased to have joined the business as it enters its next chapter and 76th year.”
Colin Tait, Director at Harley Haddow, added:
“David’s appointment is an important one for the business nationally, but it is also a strong signal of our continued commitment to Glasgow. The team has grown significantly over the past two years and we are continuing to invest in people and leadership to support clients, projects and long-term growth.”
With seven offices across the UK, Harley Haddow provides engineering, sustainability and project expertise across a wide range of sectors, with Glasgow continuing to play an important role in our wider growth plans.
