We require an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our expanding team in Guildford. Your responsibilities will include the delivery of Mechanical Services Design on assigned projects. You should have experience of a similar role and be able to work as part of a team meeting deadlines and dealing with Clients and Contractors.

The following are required.

  • • Degree qualified and ideally working towards chartered status.
  • • 3 years project experience
  • • Hold a valid UK Driving Licence
  • • Be prepared to travel to meetings and projects as necessary. Mostly south east England but occasional work in other parts of UK and Europe that may necessitate an overnight stay.

  • CDM Co-ordinator

    Due to an expanding and increasingly diverse workload we are looking to recruit an experienced CDM Co-ordinator.

    The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the skills to communicate clearly and precisely with others in the Client, Design Team and Contractor fields. They will be required to work within a team committed to providing a sound and pragmatic approach to Health and Safety within the construction industry.

    A thorough knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2007 is required combined with membership of a relevant professional body e.g. APS, IOSH, and 5 years minimum experience as a Planning Supervisor/CDM Co-ordinator.

    Senior Electrical Engineer

    We require a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our expanding team in Guildford. Your responsibilities will include the delivery and project management of the Electrical Services Design on assigned projects. You will also be responsible maintaining and improving the quality and efficiency of the Electrical Services design and post contract implementation offered by Harley Haddow. You should have experience of supervisory role over junior engineering staff assigned to your projects and be able to assist in their personal development.

    The position demands excellent communication skills, you will be representing Harley Haddow through direct contact with clients and other design team members. On occasion you may be expected to represent the practice at meetings in both Mechanical and Electrical Services disciplines.

    The following are required.

    • Degree qualified and ideally working towards chartered status.
    • 5-8 years project experience of which at least 3 years must have been total project responsibility/delivery.
    • Strong record in project management, delivery and quality.
    • People skills and demonstrable man management and client facing skills.
    • Hold a valid UK Driving Licence
    • Be prepared to travel to meetings and projects as necessary. Mostly south east England but occasional work in other parts of UK and Europe that may necessitate an overnight stay.

    Roads and Drainage Engineer

    The department are currently looking for a Roads and Drainage Engineer to join the team either in the Edinburgh or Glasgow office. You must have a minimum of two years' RCC and drainage experience in developing roads. It would be an advantage if you have experience in PDS and micro drainage software suites.
