Sheerness Dockyard

Description

Dating back to 1828, the Dockyard is steeped in local naval history and architectural significance. The project has resurrected the venue to facilitate inward investment and economic stimulation to a community that has suffered from a long period of deprivation. The key features were conserved whilst constructing a new café, seminar area, co-working spaces and a gallery to serve the wider community and locate the dockyard as a focal point for visitors that want to discover more about the Dockyards unique heritage and story.
