Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard

Are you ready for the New Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard (MEES) that comes into force in April 2018 in England & Wales? Harley Haddow can assist before time runs out.

The government has introduced new legislation that comes into force on the 1st of April 2018 which targets buildings in England and Wales that have an EPC rating of F or G.

Landlords will not be able to grant tenancy (exemptions apply) for new or existing tenants to these buildings until their energy ratings are improved to an E rating or above.

Harley Haddow can determine if your building has a problem by using the benefits of Dynamic Simulation Modelling (DSM) for the production of an EPC.   This comprehensive analysis for a non-domestic building and can help to easily identify areas that can be improved for the lowest capital cost.  We have also found that the use of this analysis method alone may help to improve your current rating when compared to a simplified model approach as it can produce more accurate calculations.

If you would like to know more or would like help with a specific building please contact us.
