As a Chartered Civil Engineer with some thirty five years experience in the Practice, I have been engaged in most types of building projects, from small to large, across the country. These have ranged from modest house repairs and extensions to the comprehensive design of multi-million pound developments. I maintain and enjoy a hands-on involvement in day-to-day project design, co-ordination of resources and production supervision. I support the combination of traditional design skills aided by up-to-date computer techniques and innovative thinking to provide sound and economic solutions for our Clients.
Out of the office I enjoy fishing, walking and photography. I am often to be found trout fishing on the upper reaches of the River Clyde around Abington which is an ideal escape from the office pressures. My walking and photography go hand-in-hand and the Lake District in particular continues to enthral. I am a long-serving and active member of Hamilton Camera Club.
