We approach each project on its own merits and aim to maintain our position at the forefront of engineering innovation through the implementation of our internal training policy which advises and obliges all designers and staff to achieve a high level of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Innovation is an inherent feature of our approach to all projects. Internal reviews are carried out at relevant stages of each project alongside informal workshops to ensure that the design remains current and valid.
Proactive design team involvement is strongly encouraged allowing environment and engineering to be considered from the outset of a project and integrated fully within the project solution. Often our involvement in the initial stages comprises mainly of senior staff involvement producing sketch concepts. We prefer to communicate our engineering via sketches rather than lengthy reporting.
Regular client briefing Meetings facilitate communication between the design team and the Client. This incorporates a design review which compares current designs against Client requirements to ensure that the building design evolves in a way which fully reflects the brief.
Regular informal design workshops are held which consider the various options and aspects of the design solutions proposed ensuring that the approach remains fresh, and the team's enthusiasm and drive to deliver a successful project is maintained throughout.
Prior to each key project stage we present the proposals to the Client for feedback. This facilitates the Client's total involvement in the design process and allows the project to move forward with confidence.
